The Children’s Center will hold its Registration for the 2021/2022 school year. Registration will begin Monday, January 25th. Applications will be accepted through Thursday, March 4, 2021. The random drawing to determine which of the children registered will be enrolled will take place on Friday, March 5, 2021. The Children’s Center’s opening is dependent on the Department of Public Health approval.
The Children Center’s Preschool Program is open to children who are three years old by September 15, 2021 for the three-day program. Sessions are held every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8:50 a.m. to 11:20 a.m. The cost is $36 per week.
A $25.00 non-refundable registration fee is due at registration time. Birth certificates for children being registered must accompany all registration forms.
We are fortunate to be able to provide a high quality, developmentally appropriate preschool experience at an affordable tuition rate because we do not have to pay teacher salaries with tuition funds. All tuition funds go right back into the program either for materials we use with children or training for the high school students. What a great benefit!
A random drawing of names is held to determine enrollment. Enrollment is limited to residents of the 11 towns within the Tri-County district, which includes Franklin, Medfield, Medway, Millis, Norfolk, North Attleborough, Plainville, Seekonk, Sherborn, Walpole, and Wrentham.
The number of registrants typically exceeds the number of available spaces. Those who are not selected during a random drawing will be placed on a waiting list.
The Children’s Center is supervised by the Tri-County Early Education Program’s three instructors. They are assisted by students in the Early Education Program.
The Tri-County RVTHS Children’s Center promotes the social, emotional, physical and intellectual development of each child.
