CIS Students Tutor Senior Citizens

On Friday, January 20, 2017, Juniors in the Computer Information Services Program participated in a Technology Tutor Session at the Walpole Council of Aging. Students sat with Senior Citizens for one on one sessions on how to use Smartphones, Flip Phones, Tablets, Ipads, etc. Seniors came with their questions and our students answered!

Medway Girl Scouts Visit

On Friday, January 13, 2017 the Tri-County Cosmetology program hosted 59 Medway Girl Scouts for their 2nd annual Spa Day. The Girl Scouts were treated to a new hair style and manicure by our high school Cosmetology students. The girls also attended mini workshops in Carpentry, where they made a box, and CIS helped them complete an Hour of Code Programing and they received certificates.  Early Education students facilitated a playdough workshop and assisted them in making “Monster Toast,” a tasty and nutritious snack for young children.

Grade 9 Program Information Night

The Grade 9 Program Information Night will be held this Wednesday - January 11 2017 at 6:30PM.  Grade 9 Students and their parents are invited to learn more about each of the 16 Career Programs that we offer here at Tri-County. Vocational Teachers will be here to talk with parents and answer questions. Administration will present the Career Program selection process. Tri-County Children's Center to hold annual Open House events

The Tri-County Regional Children’s Center, located at 147 Pond Street in Franklin, will host its annual Open House and Registration events for the 2017-2018 school year in March.

The first Open House will be held on Thursday, March 2, from 12:15 to 1:45 p.m. The second Open House will be held on March 3, from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Parents are encouraged to bring their children so that they can participate in many of the same activities they’ll enjoy as preschool students.

Deadline for BCC Spanish Program is January 6

Bristol Community College will be offering Tri-County students a chance to earn three college credits. BCC will be offering an introduction to Spanish course, SPA-101. If interested, students and parents should carefully read about the course and requirements to gain access. Space is limited and placement will be determined by Tri-County administration if more students apply than there is space for. Please contact Scott O’Brien, Head of Guidance if you have questions. Registration paperwork is due to Mr. O’Brien no later than January 6, at 3 p.m.
