This national program accepts only a small group of educators each year, giving them the rare opportunity to deepen their understanding of the U.S. Supreme Court through expert lectures, case studies, and behind‑the‑scenes learning in Washington, D.C.
Being chosen is an incredible honor — and a testament to Mrs. Ferrick’s dedication, passion for legal education, and commitment to bringing real‑world knowledge back to her students at Tri‑County.
We are so proud to have an instructor who leads by example, continues to grow in her field, and inspires future legal and protective service professionals every day. Congratulations, Mrs. Ferrick! ⚖️👏✨

This year, students designed and fabricated custom metal garden sunflowers — each one crafted with precision, creativity, and serious welding skills.
These one‑of‑a‑kind pieces are being donated as a raffle prize for our annual Tee‑Off for Tri‑County Golf Tournament Fundraiser.
Not only do these sunflowers brighten any garden, they also showcase the incredible talent and hands‑on learning happening every day in our shops. We’re so proud of the work our students put into this project and excited for the lucky winners to take them home.
Thank you to our Metal Fab & Facilities students for using their skills to give back to the Tri‑County community! 🌻✨

Right after graduating from Tri‑County, Callum jumped straight into the field and is now a Carpenter at Woodstock Building Associates.
During his time in Carpentry, Callum built a strong foundation in hands‑on skills — from framing and measuring to reading plans and working safely with tools. One standout project? Designing and building a collapsible podium for the Massachusetts Attorney General, a challenge that sharpened his precision, planning, and craftsmanship.
Callum’s advice to current students:
“Pick up every tool you can and take the time to really learn it. High school is one of the best opportunities you’ll have to explore different subjects, hands-on skills, and career paths without pressure, so take advantage of that. Whether it’s academics, vocational classes, or extracurriculars, every experience can teach you something valuable and help you figure out what you enjoy and what you’re good at. The more skills you build now, the more prepared and confident you’ll be when you step into your career or further education.”
Callum says his education at Tri-County provided him with a strong foundation in hands-on trade skills, safety practices, and practical problem-solving that he continues to use every day in his work.
Today, his vocational training supports not only his career, but also the home he and his fiancé are improving together. A true example of how trade skills last a lifetime.

🌟 Alumni All Star Spotlight: Hayley Hanifan 🌟
Class of 2020 • Medical Careers
Hayley Hanifan is a standout whose journey in healthcare keeps inspiring the next generation! 💙🩺
Hayley earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Salem State University (2024) 🎓✨. Today, she works as a Medication Coordinator at Genoa Healthcare, part of UnitedHealthcare, where she supports individuals with mental health conditions. In her role, she helps ensure patients understand their medications before discharge — making their transition back into the community safer and smoother. 🌱💊
Hayley’s favorite TC memory? Graduating during COVID. Even though the world felt upside down, celebrating that milestone with the people who supported her for four years meant everything. 💛
Her clinical experiences at Milford Hospital, Wrentham Developmental Center, and Cornerstone at Milford played a huge role in shaping her career path. Those hands‑on rotations built her confidence and helped her discover where she truly belonged in healthcare. 🏥✨
A standout moment from high school: Completing Dean Vaughn’s medical terminology program — 350 terms! 📚 That foundation still helps her today.
Hayley’s advice to current students:
“It goes by in the blink of an eye. Stay open to new experiences, ask questions, and take pride in every learning opportunity — they can shape your future. I came to TC wanting to be a Police Officer, but once I explored medical careers, I knew that’s where I was meant to be. I wouldn’t change a thing.” 💬💙
She credits TC for giving her experiences most students don’t get until college — professionalism, patient interaction, and real clinical exposure at just 16/17. Those skills not only prepared her for her career, but shaped her into a stronger, more compassionate person. 🌟
Her message to future healthcare students:
Even if you’re not dispensing medications yet, vocational training builds the core skills pharmacies rely on — attention to detail, patient safety, and understanding treatment plans. These foundations matter.

Tyler started in the Medical shop, continued his education at a Vet Tech program in Orlando, and today he’s building a successful career as a Real Estate Agent with Douglas Elliman!
When he looks back on high school, it’s not one moment that stands out — it’s the feeling. The games, the performances, the friendships, the laughter. The moments where everything made sense and he felt supported, confident, and proud.
Tyler shares that his high school experience played a huge role in shaping his career path.
“My high school experience helped shape my career path by showing me what I was interested in and what I wasn’t. Classes, teachers, and activities gave me real-world insight and built my confidence. By graduation, I had a clearer sense of direction, making my next steps feel more intentional.”
One project that made a lasting impact? His senior experience observing a liposuction procedure. Seeing the precision and teamwork behind the scenes gave him a new appreciation for responsibility and real‑world skills.
His message for today’s students:
Get involved. Try new things. Build relationships. Don’t be afraid to change direction — that’s how you figure out who you are. 🙌✨
We’re proud to celebrate Tyler and all he’s accomplished!
