🎃👻 A SPOOKTACULAR COMMUNITY COLLABORATION! 🕸️🍬
Our Early Education students brought some Halloween fun to Roderick Elementary School in Wrentham! 🧡
Students in grades 9 and 11 teamed up to create and lead spooktacular activities for 4th graders in Ms. Huot’s and Mr. Kelly’s classrooms! 🎨🎃
Grade 11 students designed the activity stations and mentored our grade 9 exploratory students as they brought each activity to life. Talk about teamwork! 🙌
This special collaboration was made possible with the help of Early Education alum Drew Kelly, now a 4th grade teacher at Roderick Elementary. Drew gave back to his alma mater by working alongside our students and teachers to make this experience happen! 💙
Students also had the opportunity to hear about Mr. Kelly’s journey at Tri-County and how the Early Education program helped pave the way for his career! 🌟

Last week, our cafeteria got a little extra star power! ⭐ Teachers and staff volunteered to serve lunch to our students, bringing smiles, laughter, and plenty of school spirit to the lunch line! 🍕🥪😄

Our Electrical instructor Mr. McKeown and an electrical 11th grade student teamed up to build an interactive D.C. generator project that turns physical energy into electrical power! 💡
🚴♂️ How does it work? The rotation of an exercise bike’s flywheel spins a D.C. generator, producing electricity that is measured on a meter. As more power is generated, a secondary light glows brighter! That energy also powers a blower motor, sending air up a tube and lifting ping pong balls. 🏓
🎯 The Challenge: Keep all four ping pong balls floating between the taped lines on the tube!
This hands-on project brings electrical generation, energy conversion, measurement, and motor operation to life in a fun and engaging way. Great work by our instructor and student for turning classroom concepts into real-world applications! 👏⚡

Our Carpentry students recently visited a Toll Brothers at a construction project in Walpole, where they had the opportunity to see first-hand how a project comes together from start to finish!
