☀️ Senior Sunrise was a hit this morning!! Our Class of 2026 gathered bright and early to celebrate the beginning of their final chapter here at Tri-County! A beautiful kickoff to their last first day of high school. From laughter and music to pancakes and cozy blankets, the energy was unforgettable. Here's to making every moment count this year, seniors—you’ve got this! 💙🎓
Alumni All Star Jake Wall!
Jake is a 2018 Graduate of the Metal Fabrication Program!
His favorite memory from school was freshmen year trying out all the different shops in exploratory, it really opened his eyes to a lot of different careers and being able to try all of them out was very exciting for him.
Jake says his high school experience furthered his career path by giving him the basic skills needed in any work environment. It taught him how to overcome obstacles and learn to get better from them. Tri-County helped him not be afraid of trying new things and realize that everything is always a learning process and that the learning never ends.
One project that had a significant impact was his senior project. He made a woodburning stove and being able to make that and do that on his own showed him that he was capable of doing new things.
Jake says the skills and knowledge learned from his vocational education at Tri-County contributed to success in his current career by teaching him to never be okay with only finishing a task or project, knowing it was only half done or thinking it was okay to just doing the bare minimum. He is in charge of helping with a lot of different projects on improving the efficiency of how his company gets product out to their customers. He also keeps track of where product is, following all the protocols of handling each item. Showing that he can and does follow all the procedures in his job, as well as planning and preparing for future situations has helped him gain recognition from his current bosses and is opening more doors for him while working there. Tri-County gave him the tools and personal skills to know what it takes to be successful in anything he puts his mind too while being comfortable doing it to the best of his ability.
Jake’s advice to current high school students: Make the most of your time in school and just put in the hard work, give your best effort, especially if it is something you really don’t want to do. It will be rewarding in the end, you will prove to yourself that you are capable of more than you thought. Always make it a priority to grow a little more than the day before and the rest will follow.

🦁🎨Students in the Early Education program bid a fun farewell for summer to the children who attend the Tri-County Children’s Center at Capron Park Zoo. A fun time was had by all who attended!
Students in the Early Education program study brain development and theories of child growth and development, the foundation of their learning. With these studies, the students are then able to plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities for the young children. To the untrained eye, these activities look like “just play”; however, in depth studies of how children develop and learn are required to make it all look so easy!☀️🐾

🔨 From blueprint to build—our Carpentry Cougars just wrapped up a 12' x 16' open pavilion for the Medfield Housing Authority at 30 Pound Street! 💪
💥Built with 6x6 posts, 2x10 roof framing, and asphalt shingles—all constructed by our talented sophomores, juniors, and seniors. Starting in late March, this hands-on project challenged students to cut through an existing slab and dig 4-foot footings. The result? A solid build ready just in time for the big celebration!
So proud of our future builders—your craftsmanship speaks for itself. 🐾🏗️

🎮On Thursday, June 12th the Rocket League Team celebrated its graduating senior captain, Andrae Buttrick.
Dre, who graduated from the HVAC+R program on June 5th, was invited back to celebrate with his teammates and deliver the trophies he has helped earn to the Athletic Director, Mrs. Martin.
Over the course of the last three years, Dre led the team to two second place finishes in the MSAA Rocket League Championships, along with his teammates Junior Lilith Kriz, and freshman Wyatt Taylor. He was the team’s highest scorer and had the highest shooting percentage. Dre is currently considering scholarship offers from multiple colleges and universities on the merits of his Rocket League prowess. We want to wish Andrae all the best in his future endeavors. Take charge, Dre!✨
