Alumni All Star Angela Anderson! Angela is a 2019 graduate of the Early Education Program! Angela went straight to work from Tri-County and is an ABA tutor at Cottage Street School in Sharon. Her favorite memory from high school was being a part of the senior project fair! She says that working on a product and being able to showcase it to the school and to the others who come in senior project night was such a cool experience, it was amazing to see everyone’s ideas come together and be able to share them with each other, it was a lot of fun!
Her high school experience influenced her career choice because she loves working with kids and always has, being in Early Ed helped her find the love she has for working with younger students. After she graduated she worked in public schools finding her footing and got an opportunity to work with children diagnosed with Autism, from there she realized that is what she wanted to do!
A specific project that had an impact on her was the senior project! Writing the senior project paper was hard work but doing all the research and finding all the information for it was very beneficial, she not only put in some facts she already knew about her topic but she also found out more and was able to get more information about her product. Taking the time to creating the product that she still uses was amazing and it is something that she will have forever!
Angela says she learned at Tri-County from her shop teachers – they always taught students to build a relationship with the preschoolers and to be patient, as someone who works with students everyday it is so important to build good relationships and be someone the kids look up to!
Advice to current students: “Take your time and don’t take it for granted! Don’t rush through high school just to finish, once you graduate you will want to go back and might even want to do things differently. Take your time in shop, getting your certifications and learning everything that your teachers can and will teach you!”

🔬 "Uncover the Evidence, Solve the Mystery!" 🧪
Miss Sabasowitz's Microbiology CP attended Bridgewater State University for the class's annual field trip with Mr. Becker as the chaperone. Students participated in the BSU Lab Larceny module. It is a forensic mystery in which high school students are hired as employees of the Forensic Institute of Bridgewater (FIB). The students performed DNA fingerprinting on samples isolated from “blood” found at the site of suspected industrial espionage at FIB headquarters. Techniques are based on restriction fragment length polymorphism (RFLP) and involve agarose gel electrophoresis to resolve the DNA fingerprints. Careful analysis of the data and critical thinking skills are encouraged in solving this "who done it?"

The gong keeps ringing as our amazing students land their co-op job placements! 🎉🔔 A brand-new tradition: every time someone strikes the gong, it symbolizes yet another co-op position has been filled! Here's to making some noise for bright futures! 🌟

Alumni All Star John O’Sullivan graduated from the Computer Information Systems Program in 2018!
Johnny furthered his education at Framingham State University and graduated in 2022 with a bachelor’s degree in Business & IT. Johnny is self-employed, owning his own landscaping company, O’Sullivan Landscaping! His favorite memory from high school was going to see his soccer coach Mr. Vernon every day before school started. Johnny credits his high school experience with giving him a head start in his chosen field. By the time he reached college, he already had a solid foundation in information technology thanks to his CIS shop. While his classmates were just beginning to learn these concepts in their freshman year, Johnny was ahead of the curve. His senior project made a significant impact on him because it required immense time and hard work. Now, as a business owner, he finds that same dedication and effort are essential in building and growing his business. Johnny says that the skills and knowledge he was fortunate to gain from TC provided a strong foundation for his college studies. This foundation set him apart from other students who didn't have the same high school opportunities he did. Johnny’s Advice: “Always ask questions because that’s how you learn! You can never ask enough questions and it helps you to stay engaged in what you are being taught!”
