🔧⭐ Weekend Win!
On Saturday, Nolan Feeley was honored as the PHCC Vocational All‑Star, representing Tri‑County’s Plumbing Program!
The PHCC (Plumbing Heating Cooling Contractors) is a major organization supporting the plumbing and HVAC trades through advocacy, education, licensing, and industry resources. Each March, they recognize outstanding seniors from trade schools across the state — students who shine in citizenship, grades, co‑op performance, attendance, and leadership.
Nolan earned this honor with the full support of his shop teachers and walked away with a tool‑filled tote 🧰 and a scholarship to support his continued education as he works toward licensing.
We’re incredibly proud of him and all he’s accomplished! 👏🔥

🦷 Forensic Odontology Day!
Our dental assisting freshmen teamed up with Mrs. Irwin’s senior science class to explore how teeth help solve crimes. Students learned about historic cases—from Paul Revere identifying remains in 1776 to the first U.S. murder conviction using dental evidence in 1849, all the way to Ted Bundy and modern DNA extracted from a single tooth.
Seniors wrapped up with a hands‑on bite‑mark matching challenge and did an amazing job.

Commissioner Pedro Martinez - Talkin' TC S3E3
Students in Mr. Alden’s Government & Politics class had the opportunity to meet with Massachusetts Representative Jeffrey N. Roy, who represents the 10th Norfolk District. During his visit, he spoke about his work in the state legislature, the responsibilities of a state representative, and how state government functions in relation to federal and local systems. He illustrated the differences between levels of government by using the Hoover Dam as an example of a federal initiative. He also shared insights from his visit with former President Jimmy Carter, giving students a firsthand look at how public service can connect to national history and policy. The discussion offered students a detailed look at the legislative process and the day‑to‑day realities of serving in state government.

🏛️On Thursday 3/5, MA State Representative Adam Scanlon (14th Bristol) stopped by Mr. Alden's "U.S. Government & Politics" classes to discuss how the state government operates and various bills that he is working on. Students learned the importance of compromise in the lawmaking process, how to reach out to lawmakers to express concerns, and what role constituents play at public hearings in committee work. They also discussed pending legislation from Mr. Scanlon, some of which deals with vocational-technical education funding and admissions policies. Thank you Representative Scanlon for your visit!🗽

Alumni All‑Star Caeden Parisi - Class of 2024 graduate and former Engineering student!
After graduation, Caeden continued his education by taking classes at Dean College, and today he's thriving as a BIM (Building Information Modeling) Technician at ADRM – Advanced Data Risk Management. 🎓💼
One of Caeden's favorite memories from high school was participating in SkillsUSA, where he loved the competitions and the chance to meet students from other vocational schools. Those experiences, along with exploring all areas of engineering, helped him discover a passion for drafting—especially using AutoCAD and Revit. His co‑op experience strengthened those skills even further and ultimately led him to the career he has today. 🔧📐
Caeden shared that earning certifications in AutoCAD and Revit, combined with hands‑on training and co‑op opportunities, made the transition from school to industry smooth and confidence‑building. 🚀
When asked what advice he would give current students:
“Tri‑County is such a great opportunity because you’re getting real, hands‑on experience while you’re still in school. Treat it like the start of your career—show up, be reliable, ask questions, and take pride in what you’re doing. Build relationships with your teachers and instructors, and take advantage of co‑ops and extra opportunities, even if they feel intimidating at first.” 💡✨
We’re proud to celebrate Caeden and the incredible path he is forging in the engineering and technology field. 🌟

Alumni All Star Spotlight: Conor Cadorette!
Conor is a 2025 graduate of the Computer Information Systems Program.
From the Computer Information Systems shop to a 4.0‑earning cybersecurity major, Conor is proving what hard work and curiosity can lead to. After graduating from Tri-County, Conor is continuing his education at Champlain College in Burlington, VT, where he’s already a sophomore while still in his first year.
He recently worked as an IT Intern at Hamilton Storage and hopes to return this summer. Conor credits his CIS background—and especially the CyberPatriot competitions he participated in during high school —for shaping his skills, confidence, and career direction.
His favorite TC memory? Senior prom… dressed as a banana. Long live Banana Man. 🍌
Conor’s advice to current students: “Take all the difficult classes you can. Even if you don’t think you can do it—try anyway.”

❄️ Snow Day Smiles! ❄️
Children from the Tri-County Children’s Center had a chance to enjoy the snow this morning! ☃️✨
Our Early Education High School students took the lead by checking the temperature and wind chill, then using a Weather Guideline chart to determine if outdoor play was safe — and for how long. After reviewing the conditions, they gave the green light for 20 minutes of outdoor fun! 🌬️🌡️
Outdoor play is such an important part of fostering healthy growth and development, and today’s snowy adventure was the perfect opportunity to learn, play, and explore together. 💙
