Meet Tyler Forgeron, Class of 2014, whose dedication to giving back has made a remarkable impact on his community. Through collecting cans, Tyler has donated over $60,000 to local charities — a true testament to the power of kindness and perseverance.
His inspiring journey even led to the creation of a children’s book, Tyler Can!, sharing how he overcame adversity to help others in need.

📚✨ Our Early Education students met with Mr. Dagan once again — this time to learn the behind‑the‑scenes process of checking in returned library books and getting them back into inventory.
With these new skills, students are now helping make sure every book is logged, organized, and ready for the next preschooler to enjoy. Thanks to their teamwork, our little learners will be able to check out fresh stories again this week and keep the joy of reading going at home.

Today our Culinary Arts students and staff had the honor of preparing and delivering holiday meals for St. Vincent de Paul.
St. Vincent de Paul is a nonprofit dedicated to supporting neighbors facing financial hardship, homelessness, or other challenges. Each year, they organize meal‑delivery drives for Veterans, seniors, individuals with special needs, and those who are homebound — and we were grateful to be part of it.
This was their first holiday season partnering with us, and our team poured so much heart into every dish. From the kitchen to delivery, our students showed incredible skill, teamwork, and compassion.
✨ Today’s Delivery Included:
Turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, squash, sweet potato, cranberry sauce & rolls — about 85 hearty meals prepared with care.
Proud of our students. Grateful for this partnership. And honored to serve our community together.

Alumni All Star Ashley McLean!
Ashley is a 2013 graduate of our Health Careers Program. She Attended College at Eastern Gateway College, Massachusetts College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences, and Capella University. She is now the
Program Director at Care One Sharon Assisted Living Community. Ashley says she loved experiencing the various trades and opportunities offered at Tri-County, and coming in not knowing exactly what she wanted to do, experiencing medical careers really opened her eyes to a rewarding healthcare field and career in helping others.
Clinical rotations really had an impact on her, being able to experience different healthcare settings and opportunities led her into the path in assisted living and knowing exactly what she wanted to do and prepared her for when she started actual work.
Ashley says that the skills and knowledge she gained through her vocational education gave her a strong foundation for her career. She learned practical, hands on skills that prepared her for real world situations, along with the importance of professionalism, teamwork, time management, and communication. Being in a vocational setting taught her how to problem solve, adapt, and take responsibility for her work. Most importantly, it helped her build confidence in her abilities and showed her the value of learning by doing skills she continues to use every day in her career.
Ashley's advice to current students: Enjoy your time soak in the memories and opportunities, while making sure to have fun!!

Our Freshman Exploratory wrapped up last Friday, and what a great way to end the cycle 🎉 These photos capture a special moment: our Medical Assisting juniors running a full mock clinic for the exploratory students 🩺✨
The juniors stepped into leadership roles with confidence — taking vitals, demonstrating skills, and giving freshmen a hands‑on look at what the Medical Assisting program is all about 💉📋 The freshmen showed up with curiosity, enthusiasm, and a real excitement to learn.
It was an awesome snapshot of what makes our program strong: students learning from students, building skills, and supporting each other as they explore future pathways 🤝💙
Huge shout‑out to both groups for making the experience meaningful and memorable!

Today, MA State Representative Marcus Vaughn (R, 9th Norfolk) visited Mr. Alden’s “U.S. Government & Politics” class, a full-year elective for Seniors, to talk about several bills he is currently sponsoring . He discussed proposals to change food truck licensing, a mandatory civics test for high school graduation, and the ability for families to opt out of the free school lunch program. Students asked thoughtful questions and used their knowledge from class to discuss civil discourse and how they can better participate in local / state politics. Thank you Rep. Vaughn for your time and advocacy!

🛡️On 12/19/25 Our CIS Juniors had the opportunity to participate in an immersive Cloud Security Workshop and Capture the Flag (CTF) cybersecurity competition, led by Cameron Killian, a Security Engineer at Tenable and proud Tri-County alumnus (Class of 2017).🕵️‍♂️
The workshop transitioned from instruction to action as students logged into a live lab environment and competed in a Capture the Flag (CTF) challenge. Using real-world tools and scenarios, students applied what they learned from the workshop presented in the morning.
During this hands-on session, students explored why cloud security presents unique challenges in today’s IT environments. Cameron guided students through how modern organizations identify, prioritize, and remediate cloud risks using an identity-first approach to exposure management
This experience gave students direct exposure to industry-grade cloud security platforms, reinforced critical cybersecurity concepts, and showcased the types of skills used daily by professionals in the field.🔒
